3 – 18 Month Peace of Mind Guarantee

• Because Zen Builders stands behind the quality of our workmanship, including that of any sub-contractors engaged by us, we guarantee workmanship for a period of 18 months following completion.

• In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with any aspect of our workmanship we will investigate, and where necessary repair or replace.

4 – New Zealand Certified Builders 10-Year Residential Halo Guarantee

• Because Zen Builders is a member of the New Zealand Certified Builders Association, you qualify to apply and purchase a Halo 10-Year Residential Guarantee. A Halo 10-Year Residential Guarantee protects you after the building process, and for the next 10-Years. It provides much greater protection than both the Building Act and Consumer Guarantees Act.

5 – Excellent communication

• You are assured that we will listen to your ideas and needs, discuss with you the best options for your project and explain the likely processes required.

• Through the course of your building project, we assure you that you will receive weekly email updates informing you of progress on site and the plan for the week ahead

• Because we hold regular site meetings, as agreed upon with you, you will get an update on progress as well as a projection of future work. Further, we guarantee that you will have access to timelines that are updated in real time to track the progress of your project.

• We guarantee that our team will be responsive and will always communicate with you in a friendly and professional manner. In the unlikely event that a team member does not communicate professionally, please speak directly to your project manager.

6 – Quality Workmanship

• Because all Zen Builders projects are supervised and overseen by a qualified and experienced Licensed Building Practitioner, you are guaranteed that your project will meet the New Zealand Building Code standards.

• Further, because Zen Builders uses comprehensive checklists, also known as ZenQ’s, to check every project at integral stages you are assured of quality workmanship.

• We guarantee that any subcontractors that we engage in your project will be suitability qualified and have met Zen Builders quality Standards for Engagement

• In the unlikely event that there is a fault, we guarantee to remedy it as soon as possible at no additional cost.

7 – On time, everytime

• We guarantee that when we say we are going to be on-site, we will be.

• We also guarantee that we will meet the deadlines that have been agreed upon. Further, we will pre-order and/or purchase critical materials and fixtures prior to starting to ensure your project runs to schedule.

• In the event that there is an event outside of our control (e.g. weather, supplier failure, illness ) that causes a delay, we will communicate this to you immediately and do everything possible to minimise the impact on your schedule (e.g. substitute materials, engage substitute subcontractor, reallocate team).

8 – No surprises

• In the event of an unexpected change becoming necessary, you will be notified in writing and requested to approve before any additional expenses are incurred.

9 – Comprehensive Pricing

• We guarantee that your Zen Building Plan will include a full specification list with full details of the scope of works. We will list any areas where it is not possible to precisely quote and give you a best estimate of likely costing.

10 – Security & Cleanliness

• Regardless of how big or small your project is, we assure you that we will always keep your home clean and tidy. We guarantee that our worksites will always be left in a tidy condition at the end of each day. Your personal belongings will always be protected by using floor and furniture coverings.

• The security of your home is important to us. We assure you that your home will be locked and secured each day when we are on-site. Contractors will only be granted permission to enter your home once you have given us permission. We are able to install additional security measures if you require us to do so.
